if fast fashion is strictly defined by rapid production cycles and the clothes being crappily made is just a byproduct of that, then that implies the existence of brands that aren't fast but are still unethical and unsustainable.

is that even a thing? why do we even focus on the unsustainability of fashion being fast? like if you take away all the bad byproducts, then fast production cycles aren't even inherently bad. its the unsustainable and unethicalness that's the problem, so why not just talk about unethical or unsustainable fashion? why go about it in such a round about way?
