Fontaines D.C.’s Grian Chatten will contribute a cover of Massive Attack’s “Angel” to the Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man soundtrack. The feature-length spinoff of the crime series premieres in theaters on March 3 (and hits Netflix on March 20); the soundtrack is out the same day via Milan Records. The new version of “Angel” is one of two Massive Attack covers on the soundtrack, which also features a rendition of “Teardrop” from Irish singer Girl in the Year Above. It also features an original song from Amyl and the Sniffers’ Amy Taylor, a freshly recorded version of Nick Cave’s “Red Right Hand,” and a new track from Chatten and Lankum, “Hunting the Wren.” A lead single called “Puppet,” which Chatten wrote with Peaky Blinders composers Antony Genn and Martin Slattery, is out now.
