The Wiggles have revealed that they aren’t familiar with Oasis and “controversially, like Blur more”. At one point, members Anthony Field and Lucia Field – the father-daughter duo performing as the Blue Wiggles – heard a segment of the classic 1995 Oasis hit, ‘Wonderwall’, but were unable to identify it. Lucia revealed that she didn’t recognise it, and after being told it was the Britpop giants, responded: “Controversially, I like Blur more… that is why I have no idea.” Her comments refer to the rivalry between Oasis and Blur that ran throughout the height of Britpop in the 1990s.…
