A Papanui High School student is about to embark on the next stage of his rapidly developing motorcycle racing career. Ryder Chamberlain, 14, has grown in confidence after setting two national lap records earlier this year, and is preparing to make his international debut in the final round of the Oceania Junior Cup at Queensland Raceway in June. Ryder's venture is supported by the newly established Superbike Pathways Foundation, which has been set up by New Zealand Superbike Championship promoter Mike Marsden and Christchurch-raised former international rider Stu Avant. Ryder will be accompanied by his father Stu Masters, and hosted by Avant and his wife Bec.
