With her relentlessly melodic fourth album, Maitreya Corso (out today), Maya Hawke is starting to establish a sonic lane of her own, combining Aimee Mann-level musicality with hyper-literate, polygraph-test confessional lyrics. In a recent Rolling Stone Studio interview, Sink broke down the making of the ambitious album — including the influences of Taylor Swift , Sadie Sink , and William Blake — and looked back at the end of Stranger Things , plus much more.  On the first song of the album, “Love of My Life,” you sing, “What if I got what I wanted/What if I was who I wanted to be?” Is there a little bit of trepidation attached to the idea of getting what you wanted?
