That love of surprises apparently extends to Moss-Bachrach himself, as he announced Tuesday on Instagram that The Bear has dropped a surprise episode, written by Moss-Bachrach and co-star Jon Bernthal. The surprise installment, titled "Gary," is a flashback episode following Richie and Mikey (Bernthal) on a work trip to Gary, Indiana. The Bear creator Christopher Storer directed.
