‘Man On Fire’ Holds Steady Atop Netflix English TV Rankings In First Full Week; ‘Lord Of The Flies’ Underwhelms In U.S.

Man on Fire burned brightly ahead of the pack on Netflix ‘s English TV rankings last week. The series, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, took in 12.6M views from May 4 to 10. That’s in addition to the 11M views it secured in its first few days on the platform after launching on April 30. This marks a pretty solid start for the series, but it’ll be a while before it could potentially break into the most popular list. That would also require some sustained buzz around the series, so the next few weeks will be telling. Man on Fire was quite far ahead of all its TV competition on Netflix, with second place going to Should I Marry a Murderer? The docuseries, which recounts a woman’s experience after her husband admits to murder, built up 8M views for the week. Season 2 of Worst Ex Ever came in closely behind at No. 3, also with 8M views. Fourth place went to Legends with 3.4M views, and Running Point Season 2 rounded out the top five with 3.3M views.…
