My 2 year old son has been drawn to the Mario stuff I have for a while. Just a few figures and especially a tiny Luigi in his kart. We got him Mario, Luigi, and Peach plushies that he carries around with him and sleeps with. And every time he sees something to do with either of the new Mario movies he gets super excited and wants to watch them. Unfortunately, we don't let him watch much TV yet but super excited to watch them with him in a few years. Anyway, today I decided to fire up the OG Super Mario Bros 3 for him to see. He loved it. After a few minutes I gave him the controller and showed him how to move and jump. After quite a few deaths at the hands of the first goomba in level 1 he somehow managed to time his jump correctly and stomped his first goomba.
