This is what I built for my mother 82 years old living alone at 8 hours of road. It's a tablet with a tactile screen and a raspberry. There is a flask server on it for the web app to publish photos on the tablet on a privacy vlan and access by a vpn wireguard. I catch the news and publish them on the tablet. It is like a POC but a long POC because It run for 2 years now. I think it could be useful for other people but the code is not professional. I would like to put it on GitHub but it's so much work to reach this goal and not be sure the interest for other.
