Hi everybody! I'm a math PhD student working on discrete differential geometry and topology, with some applications in chemistry and machine learning. I just got my first paper accepted at ICML, which I'm super excited about, but since this is my first time attending a big ML conference, I have basically no idea what to expect. What do you wish someone had told you before your first big ML conference? Anything on making the most of it, talks vs. posters, or meeting people as a newcomer is very welcome. submitted by /u/Up-To-Homotopy [link] [comments]
