Hi everybody! I'm a math PhD student working on discrete differential geometry and topology, with some applications in chemistry and machine learning. I just got my first paper accepted at ICML, which I'm super excited about, but since this is my first time attending a big ML conference, I have basically no idea what to expect. What do you wish someone had told you before your first big ML conference?
