FIX. Factory reset, I didn't factory reset it properly. Now I've logged in with Google home connected too vs just google account and all working so far Like many my Chromecast suddenly stopped working about a week ago. Unfortunately it isn't working properly since I can use the remote to turn on the TV but despite a Solid white light on the Chromecast the TV screen stayed black. I was about to restart by unplugging it for a minute, but I now have to do this everytime. Is there a way to fix this? I've also attempted multiple resets pushing the button on the Chromecast which others reported helping this issue but no dice so far.
