My partner and I are considering moving temporarily to Latin America with our 2 and 4 year olds to save on daycare costs (we both work remote) but then returning to the US (and my childhood home in the town I grew up in, and currently live) for my 4 year old to start kindergarten when he's old enough. My 4 year old is possibly neurodivergent (ADHD) so I'm wondering if the transition back and forth would be too harmful.
