The Federal Communications Commission yesterday announced it will no longer approve consumer-grade routers made outside of the US, citing a President Trump directive on reducing the use of foreign technology for national security reasons.

The FCC has officially added foreign-made routers to its Covered List, a list of equipment deemed a national security threat to the United States.

Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr today urged broadcasters to join a "Pledge America Campaign" that Carr established to support President Trump's "Salute to America 250" project.
