I think I just found the inspiration for Frank Lloyd Wright's Beth Shalom Synagogue (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beth_Sholom_Congregation_(Elkins_Park,_Pennsylvania))

I'll never forget the first time I saw the Sears Tower (and downtown Chicago) as a little kid. I instantly fell in love with architecture and nearly did it as a career.

I work a block away from the WTC site. I wish I'd had a chance to see them in person before 9/11. :-(
