I've got 2-3 weeks for a backpacking trip with my 9 year old dog in late August/early September. We're both experienced backpackers (hiked the Colorado Trail and Long Trail together) but he's got some arthritis in his hips so we're keeping mileage low (probably 6-7 miles per day)
